VC pet project PIPPIN causes sudden AI agent resurgence
The Pippin token was created by the Solana community on Pump.fun who used Yohei Nakajima’s AI-generated SVG unicorn image, Pippin, as a mascot.Â
Deciding to work with the meme coin’s community, Yohei Nakajima adopted a Solana wallet for the mascot and turned Pippin into an AI influencer on X/Twitter.
According to the official Pippin website, the mascot is fully automated and makes regular posts on the X/Twitter account @pippinlovesyou.Â
The mascot’s code is available on GitHub as an open-source project allowing community members to contribute to Pippin’s growth as an AI influencer.Â
From the official website:
Community contributions include custom websites, meme generators, AI-powered games, promo videos, and music videos featuring Pippin. Since Pippin is cc0 (public domain), anyone may use his name and likeness
In between automated posts, the developer Yohei Nakajima, regularly updates his Twitter followers on Pippin’s growth and the project’s growth as collaborators hop aboard.
