AllinCrypto is independent crypto media — not a wire-service news desk. We publish original research, market analysis, daily YouTube updates, podcasts, and exclusive interviews. We have run the UK’s #1 crypto podcast since 2017 and operate a 1,000+ member reserved community.
This page explains how we work. It exists so readers, regulators, and search engines can verify our editorial standards. If you spot a mistake or want to flag a concern, email editorial@allincrypto.com.
Our Editorial Mission
We cover the assets and themes we genuinely follow — Hedera, XRP, Stellar, Cardano, Algorand, Chainlink, Solana, ICP — and the broader story of institutional adoption, tokenization, and Layer-1 ecosystems. We focus on signal, not headline-chasing. Our editorial calendar is set by what our team is actively researching, not by what is trending on Crypto Twitter.
Sourcing Standards
- Primary sources first. When covering a protocol, project, or filing, we link to the on-chain transaction, the SEC/court document, the official announcement, or the founder’s verified statement.
- Named on-record sources are required for any executive quote attributed to AllinCrypto reporting. We do not invent or paraphrase quotes.
- Anonymous sources are used only when (a) the source has direct knowledge, (b) the information cannot be obtained on record, and (c) the editor verifies identity off-page.
- No anonymous tips from anonymous Telegram or Discord accounts are treated as evidence. Insider claims are corroborated against on-chain data, public filings, or named sources before publication.
- Press releases are clearly labeled and never republished verbatim as news.
Fact-Checking Process
Every article goes through three layers before publication:
- Author verification — the writer cites every numeric claim, quote, and asset metric to a primary source and links it inline.
- Editorial review — a second team member reviews the source links, replicates on-chain claims (transactions, supply, market cap), and verifies external attributions.
- Senior researcher sign-off — for articles on price targets, regulatory implications, or anything that affects investor decisions, a senior researcher signs off before publication. These pieces carry a “Reviewed by” byline.
If a source link breaks or a primary source corrects itself after we publish, our piece is updated and an “Updated” notice is added at the top.
Conflict of Interest & Financial Disclosure
Crypto coverage is unique: writers often hold the assets they cover. We treat this transparently rather than pretending it does not exist.
- We never accept payment for coverage. No project, token, exchange, or VC has paid AllinCrypto to publish editorial content. Sponsored content, when present, is labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the page and never appears under an editorial byline.
- We do not trade on unpublished information. Writers who become aware of material non-public information during research must disclose it to the editor and refrain from trading the relevant asset until the article is live.
- Personal holdings. Writers cover assets they personally hold conviction in (and often own). Where a writer holds a meaningful position in an asset they are covering, the article carries a disclosure line at the bottom.
- No paid coin shilling. We do not promote low-cap tokens for compensation, ever. Period.
- Affiliate links, where present, never affect editorial coverage and are disclosed inline.
AI Usage Disclosure
We use AI as a research and editing assistant, never as a replacement for human reporting. Specifically:
- Writers may use AI to draft summaries, suggest headlines, or proofread. Every published word is reviewed, edited, and verified by a named human team member.
- We disclose AI involvement on any article whose core content (analysis, conclusions, recommendations) was generated by AI — these are labeled “AI-assisted” or “AI-generated” at the top. To date, no article on AllinCrypto falls in this category.
- The “AI Summary” box at the top of articles is a clearly-labeled extractive summary tool — it does not generate new claims, only condenses what the human author already wrote.
Corrections Policy
If we publish something inaccurate, we correct it visibly. Our policy:
- Factual errors are corrected in-place and noted with an “Updated” timestamp at the top of the article. Substantive corrections (wrong number, wrong attribution, wrong outcome) include a short “Correction” note explaining what changed.
- Typos and copy edits may be fixed silently.
- Significant retractions remain on the article permanently — we do not delete pieces to hide errors.
- To request a correction, email editorial@allincrypto.com with the URL and the issue. We respond within 48 hours.
Author Accountability
Every article on AllinCrypto carries the byline of a named, real team member. Our authors are listed on our Team page with their roles, areas of expertise, and external profiles (X, LinkedIn, YouTube). No ghost-authored content, no AI personas, no purchased bylines.
Ownership & Funding
AllinCrypto is privately owned and operated by its founding team. Revenue comes from a mix of community subscriptions, YouTube ad revenue, podcast sponsorships (clearly labeled), and affiliate partnerships with infrastructure providers we use ourselves. We have no venture investors, no protocol ownership stakes, and no editorial directives from external parties.
Not Financial Advice
Everything we publish is editorial commentary and research — not personalized financial advice. We do not know your tax situation, your time horizon, or your risk tolerance. Crypto assets are volatile and can lose value. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making investment decisions.
