BitcoinOS vs Charles Hoskinson
According to Cardano founder, Charles Hoskinson, the Bitcoin community does not want or need additional tokens to be able to use integrated applications.
Hoskinson believes that BitcoinOS may have ulterior motives with their upcoming token launch. Hoskinson stated, ”I don’t like working with partners who say one thing and do another.”
BitcoinOS’s BTC-ADA Cardano bridge would be a huge addition to the Cardano ecosystem. By issuing a token and making comments about Hoskinson’s opinions on BitcoinOS, Hoskinson has retaliated against the team.
From Charles Hoskinson via Twitter:
Cardano is a permissionless layer. Go do your integration and stop caring about what I think about your business model, how you raise funds, or your token not being a CNT.
BitcoinOS responds to Cardano founder
The BOS team responded to Charles Hoskinson’s opinions about the upcoming $BOS token with a tweet saying that the Cardano community voted en-mass for Cardano’s integration with BOS.

According to the team, it was one of the highest-voted proposals on the network with the “widest” support.
According to the BOS team, BitcoinOS users will not need to hold the BOS token to use the platform or its bridge. The team also claimed they are building a Bitcoin ZK (Zero-knowledge proof) quicker than anyone else in the industry.
From BitconOS:
No need to own $BOS token to use BitcoinOS.
$BOS is also used to buy Bitcoin compute – this occurs purely in the background. Bitcoin DeFi users can pay for their entire experience in BTC and need not know $BOS token even exists.
Hoskinson responded that he and his team at Cardano will be building their own Bitocn ZK’s and BTC integrations without BitcoinOS. He wished the team well and said it was not a “competition.”
